Calle Lunga is a typical venetian street on the historic center of the city. The boutique is located on the ground floor of an historic building. In the atmosphere of this bizantine city the semplicity of the interior design acquires even greater significance. The austherity of materials higlight the preciousness of the products exposed.

the suroounding landscape without superimposing its presence thanks to the use of materials that elegantly dialogues with nature.
The stone elements that compose kitchen, master bathrooms and powder rooms have been meticulously developed and fabricated to
match the design intent of minimalism and contemporaneity.

The solution for this exemplar in Downtown, which fortunately was blessed with premium skyline views,
was to relieve the interior ordinariness by stimulating the senses with tactile variety.
ETAD created a complexly layered textural palette that injects visual adrenaline into the architectural envelope.

A soon to become neighborhood gathering spot for the Upper West Side.
The primarily use of steel (patina finish) and wood (white oak) for the furniture create a dialogue with the sofisticated historic elements (tin ceiling and cast iron columns).
The inviting design of the lower floor of this historic 19th Century building combines modern materials with restored historic architectural elements that have been long obscured. Highlighting a decorative tin ceiling and the beautiful cast iron exterior, the project required approval from the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission as part of the Central Park West Historic District.

The project creates continuous spaces that are tailored to specific office uses. Natural light penetrates the center of the office, through the glass panels dividing the open floor from conference rooms and the lounge area. The muted colors of white walls and poured concrete floors create continuity between the spaces, and match the natural tones of the wood panel closets and tables in the cafeteria.
Translucent orange panels divide the kitchen and eating areas from the office space. The result is a mix of distinct yet connected work and relaxation zones.

The interior renovation of Murray's Bagels, an historic gathering spot for Chelsea, was a significant component of the overall rebranding strongly wanted by the owner after 40 years from the first great opening. The primarily use of white carrara marble, wood (white oak) and steel for the furniture create an harmonic dialogue with the original identity of the place. The new seating layout and all the interior furniture have been designed by ETAD and custom madein Italy by ETAMORPH to fit precisely the project requirements.
